We make the mockup first, free. If your logo doesn't look right on the garment, you'll know before any money changes hands — and we'll redraw it until it does.
We hit your date, or say so
Tell us when you need them and we'll tell you straight whether we can make it. If it's tight, we'll ring you and work something out. We don't take an order and hope.
If the branding is wrong, we redo it
Print peeling, wrong shade, logo off-centre — our fault, our cost. We print and embroider in our own unit, so fixing it is a phone call, not a supply chain.

The things people actually ask us
Is the mockup really free, or is there a catch?
Really free. We make it, we email it, and if you never reply that's the end of it. It costs us a few minutes and it's the fastest way to show you we're worth talking to.
Can I have some items printed and others embroidered?
Yes, and most people do. Embroidered aprons for front-of-house, printed tees for the kitchen is the usual split. The calculator above lets you set the branding method and the quantity item by item, and your quote will do the same.
My logo is just a JPEG off Instagram. Is that a problem?
No. Send whatever you've got — a screenshot, a photo of your sign, a link to your Instagram. If it isn't print-ready Lucy will redraw it into a proper vector file at no charge, and that file is yours to keep and use anywhere.
What's the minimum order?
There isn't one. If you've got three staff, we'll do three aprons. No set-up fee, no origination charge, no "minimum 25 units" nonsense.
Are you actually competitive on price?
Yes — and more importantly, the price you see is the price. The big uniform suppliers quote low and then add set-up fees, origination charges and minimum-order premiums. We don't have any of those. Our aprons start at £13 printed with your logo included.
Printed or embroidered — which should I pick?
Embroidery is stitched, won't crack or fade, and reads as more premium — the right call for front-of-house. Print is cheaper, sharper on fine detail and full colour, and perfectly durable for the kitchen. We'll mock up both if you're torn.
Will it survive a commercial wash?
Yes. Our bib apron is 195gsm poly-cotton twill rated to an 85°C industrial wash. We use catering-grade garments from Premier, Le Chef and Dennys — not promotional-grade stock that goes limp after a month.
How fast can you actually deliver?
The mockup usually lands the same working day. Production is typically 5 to 10 working days from artwork approval, depending on the garment and quantity. Tell us the date you need them and we'll confirm it, or ring you to sort something out if it's tight.
When do I pay?
After you've approved the mockup and the quote — never before. Card or bank transfer, and we can invoice established businesses on terms.

We started doing uniforms because businesses kept asking us for them, and kept telling us the same thing: everyone else wanted a big minimum order and three weeks. So we don't.
